Experience Alicante
Costa Blanca is Spanish for "White Coast", it refers to the miles of white sandy beaches that lie between the turquoise waters and breathtaking mountains of Alicante.
The Costa Blanca offers a diverse mix of bustling tourist resorts, picturesque fishing villages and medieval towns.
There are plenty of scenic routes and places to discover like the 16th century Castillo de Santa Barbera (St. Barbera's Castle) on Mount Benacantil, for great views of the city.
Benidorm
Benidorm's beaches, nightlife and theme parks have made it the destination of choice for holidaymakers of all ages looking for an affordable and fun place to visit on the Costa Blanca.
There are three main beaches: Levante Beach, Poniente Beach and the smaller Malpas Beach.
Benidorm's coastal location also makes it a popular choice for water sports including windsurfing, scuba diving and jet skiing.
Elche Palm Grove
Around 30 minutes drive from Alicante, Elche is the location of Europe's only palm grove. The Palm Grove is also one of the largest in the world, covering over 3.5 sq km and containing more than 200,000 palm trees. Most of the trees are date palms, some of which are up to 300 years old.
A drive through the Elche Palm Grove is a mesmerising experience, with fractals of sunlight, and cool shaded areas providing the perfect respite from the dazzling Mediterranean sun.
