You can rent with Simply Wheelz if you're traveling to Alicante and Malaga airports in Spain, with plans to open new locations in the future. There is a courtesy shuttle bus that runs between the terminal building and the location which takes approx. 5-10 minutes.

Simply Wheelz rates include tax, unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, theft protection, one additional driver, location service charge, vehicle licencing fee and road tax.

Simply Wheelz rates do not include the cost of optional extras such as Super Cover, Child Seats, 3rd additional driver, Satellite Navigation System or Personal Insurance.

Rates also exclude the charge for a full tank of fuel which is based on local prices and applied to all rentals at time of pick-up.

 
Show answerCan I pick up or drop off my car outside of opening hours?

Simply Wheelz offers a limited 'Out of Hours' service. If you wish to pickup or drop off your car up to 2 hours before opening/after closing, please contact the location prior to booking.

There will be a charge added at the rental location of 11.60 euros (incl. tax) for every hour outside of opening hours.

 
Show answerHow and where do I pick up my car?

Simply Wheelz locations are a few minutes by free courtesy shuttle bus from the airport terminal.

Upon arrival at the airport, simply contact the rental location and bus will come and pick you up.

These instructions will be made available in your reservation confirmation sent by e-mail. These instructions are also available to download from this site.

Please ensure you print out and bring these instructions with you as they contain the telephone number you need to call for our courtesy bus as well as maps of how to find the pick-up point and rental location.

Show answerWhat if I don't have my confirmation email or other print-outs with me on arrival?

We will have your reservation details at our locations, however not having your printed documentation to hand could cause delays. We stongly recommend you have the courtesy bus phone number with you as our buses will only be sent once customers are ready at the airport.

 
Show answerWhat do I do if I want to modify my booking?

Click on "Change, review or cancel your booking". You may modify your dates, times, car type or optional extras.

Note: if you want to change the name of the Main Driver or the Pick Up location, you must Cancel your current reservation and rebook.

You may modify your booking up to 4 hours before your scheduled pick-up time.

Modifications to a booking must be made via the site through which your original reservation was made. Although no administration charges are made for changes made online, these changes will result in your booking being recalculated based on the availability and prices at the time the change is made. This may mean an increase, or decrease in the price quoted when you originally booked.

Modifications to your car hire booking may be made at the time of vehicle collection, subject to availability, and on payment of any additional charges. Such charges will be quoted in the currency of the renting country and may be at a higher rate than those previously quoted.

If you wish to extend your rental during the rental period you should contact your renting location.

 
Show answerDo I have to re-fuel the car before I return it?

Your rental car will have a pre-filled tank of fuel which you will be charged for on arrival. You therefore do not have to worry about refuelling the car before returning it. No refunds are given for any fuel left in the tank.

 
Show answerWhat if my flight is delayed and your office closes?

We cannot be held responsible for flight or other travel delays. However, if you are delayed and have emailed us with your flight number and arrival time, simply contact the location by phone from your departure airport and we will wait for you for up to 2 hours.

For this service, there will be a charge added at the rental location of 11.60 euros (incl. tax) for every hour of delay outside of opening hours.

Alternatively, you may contact us by phone and we will hold your vehicle back for collection the following day.

 
Show answerWhat insurance is included within my rate?

Simply Wheelz rates include 'Collision Damage Waiver' and 'Theft Protection'. Both of these are subject to a non-waivable excess of EUR 400.00, however this can be reduced to zero should you purchase our competively priced optional 'Super Cover'.

With Super Cover, your already limited liability will be waved in case of damage to, or theft of Simply Wheelz vehicles, accessories including those losses resulting from collision, vandalism, theft or attempted theft, provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. Super Cover does not cover broken / loss of keys, contamination of fuel or navigation system units.

Super Cover can only be purchased at time of pick up at a charge of EUR 3.00 per day (maximum charge or EUR 99.00 per rental).

If you accept the optional super cover by paying the daily charges specified, your liability for the excess in relation to collision damage waver and/or theft protection will be eliminated.

You must be over 23 years old and have a valid driving licence.

 
Show answerWhat if I'm late returning the car?

If you return the car later than the agreed time of check in, an extra day's fee will be charged at twice the daily rate. This is because late returns will prevent us providing the vehicle to other customers who have reserved it for that date and will result in a Simply Wheelz having to compensate those customers. Please note that we are unable to give a refund if you return the vehicle early. Please note that the grace period is 29 minutes.

In order to collect your car, please ensure that you have the following to hand: Directions of how to find us. A print out of your reservation confirmation, your driving licence, your passport, and the Credit Card used to make the booking.

 
Show answerDo I have to pay for additional drivers?

The first additional driver can be added to your reservation at time of booking completely free of charge. Further drivers can be added to your rental when you pick up your car for a daily charge of €3 per day (maximum charge per rental is €30), excluding tax. The additional driver must present a valid driving licence at time of pick up.

Yes a Satellite Navigation System is an option that you can select at the time of booking.

You will need to return the car to your original pick-up Simply Wheelz location. One way rentals and drop-offs at other locations are not permitted. A free courtesy shuttle bus is available to transfer you to the airport terminal.

You'll need to call us at the airport for our complimentary courtesy bus. If you do not have a mobile that works in Spain please ask for directions to the nearest pay-phones within the airport terminal. We recommend that you have some Euro coins or a major credit card to hand.

Simply Wheelz offers both economy and compact cars, either 3 or 5 doors. This is to keep the price of hiring a car to you as low-cost as we can.

Membership programmes such as Hertz #1 Club cannot be used when renting with Simply Wheelz.

As Simply Wheelz offers a low-cost, simple service to our customers, we do not accept any Frequent traveller associations.
